Skywatch Friday-Sky is the limit !!

Trend of building skyscrapers in areas close to city is increasing at an alarming rate. Without ensuring whether we have necessary and basic infrastructure and other facilities the continuous process of construction is being carried out at the cost of environment.  This fact is extremely disturbing to me. And another fact is, though many constructions are complete, yet common man cannot afford to buy his dream home due to high  and unrealistic / exorbitant prices.

This post is part of Sky Watch Friday, community of sky watchers, where people from all over the world post great photographs of the sky in their part of the world.!

    1. Thanks for appreciating. :) I have nowhere mentioned or written anything against skyscrapers. They are very much necessary considering the increasing population. But we (policy makers) need to create and develop basic facilities and infrastructure (Light, Water supply , Medical facilities, and strong disaster management plan) before approving high rise buildings. And this are my personal opinions.

  4. You are right about common man not able to afford a house. Because most of the flats are booked by property dealers who sell the flat in black. A salaried person finds it difficult to arrange black money. Now for huge population of India in cities we are running out of place to build. So, skyscraper is the answer. Hongkong has gone vertical to solve land shortage.
