Pink cassia flower/ Madhu Malti flower

Some captures of Pink Cassia flower/ Madhu Malti Flower (These flowers are commonly found here in the gardens.)












(P.s I am not sure about the name of flower and after reading information on this Link I arrived at the conclusion that the flower is similar to Pink Cassia / Java Cassia / Cassia Javanica. )
(P.P.S Thank you very much Mridula and Sindhu for suggesting me the exact name of the flower. )

  2. There are too many pictures of the same kind. Your viewers will glance all of them in 2 seconds. If you upload only one pic (whichever is best), then you are restricting your viewers 2 seconds to see what you are trying to convey. Regards

    1. Thank you very much for guiding me. Your suggestions are very valuable for me as they help me a lot for improvement. I have learnt many things from observing photographs on your blog. I agree to you that there are too many pictures of the same kind in this post. I will definitely correct this from my next post by uploading limited / (best) pictures of same kind.
      In this particular post, I was very confused in selecting limited photographs of this flower. So I uploaded all.

  5. I believe this is called Malti in Hindi. I too have this tree and it is a favorite with the purple sunbirds!

  6. Awesome clicks Deepa! I have clicked some of these beautiful flowers too :) These flowers are called as Bayya Mallige in my native. I guess its English name is Combretum Indicum that is commonly known as Rangun Flower. More details here:

    1. Thank you very much Sindhu :) Malllige flowers are very famous. My mom likes Mallige flowers. but they are very costly here in Mumbai. I was not aware that they are also available in pink colour. Thanks for sharing the information :)
