Kudal Market

We visited Kudal (Town in Sindhudurg District, Maharashtra) in December 2013. And also it was time for celebration of Margashirsha Month (auspicious month as per Saka Calendar/India's national calendar).
Sharing some photos captured at Kudal Fruit Market-

Five types of Fruits (Apple, Pomegranate, Chikoo, Orange, Mosambi(sweet lemon))

  4. Oh, I love a good open-air market. When I lived in Puerto Rico, we had el Mercado, and some of those same fruits were there. This really took me back twenty-five years! If only I could get hold of a really ripe mango, just one a summer, I would be in heaven. But here in Wisconsin, in the land-locked Midwest of the US, there is not even a ripe lime on hand!! Thanks for this, Amy
