Yesterday we celebrated Anant Chaturdashi (I.e end of Ganpati festival for the year). Lord Ganesha statutes are immersed on Anant Chaturdasi -- 11 days after the first day of the Ganesh festivalThe streets in Mumbai filled with loud music, drumming, dancing, and fire crackers. 5. Ganesha is bidding adieu before coming once again with his mother for Durga Pujas.....The picture of kids sitting in the truck with Marigold garlands hanging captures the universal moment of childhood and festivities.....beautiful!!
